Lyons Falls, NY: Otis Technology is proud to announce its support of a start-up non-profit organization for disabled veterans – Vets2Farm.

Vets2Farm's sole purpose is to provide disabled veterans a place to heal, farm, grow and give back. It is a place where veterans, who are interested in farming, can be taught the various tasks associated with running an organization as well as the science behind everything farming.

Located in Little Falls, NY, this organization not only benefits veterans, but the local community as well. All meat and produce raised is sold locally at cost. Any remaining product is then donated to another veteran non-profit organization, Feed Our Vets (feedourvets.org).

Vets2Farm is a 100% veteran serving veteran program and was founded March 12, 2016 by veterans themselves – David Gevry and Ward Halverson. Both gentlemen served tours in Afghanistan. "Companies like Otis Technology help us immensely in achieving our purpose. Their backing helps us grow, and in turn, we can then help more veterans," states David.

This organization is quite unique in that the by-product of the farm therapy – meat and produce – benefits the local community and even more veterans.
