Team Hornady has Big Winners at USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals

Grand Island, NE – Hornady Manufacturing, a world leader in bullet, ammunition, and reloading tools, congratulates the performances of Team Hornady members at the Multi-Gun National Championships.

The three-day match was held April 24th – 26th, 2015 at the Desert Sportsman's Rifle and Pistol Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. The competition included fast-paced, bay-style stages which forced shooters to engage with swinging targets, flying clays, and poppers while on the move.

Jerry Miculek won the Open Division using Hornady 9mm 115 gr HAP Steel Match in his pistol, and Hornady 223 Rem 75 gr BTHP Steel Match in his rifle. Travis Gibson was runner up in the Open Division. Joining his Team Hornady members was Michael Voigt with the top 5 position.

Category winners included Maggie Reese who took first place in the Ladies Division, and Wyatt Gibson, son of Travis Gibson, who placed first in the Junior Division and eighth overall in the Open Division.

Keith Garcia turned in an impressive performance winning the Heavy Metal Tactical Division. Garcia relied on Hornady 308 Win 110 gr TAP ammunition. "It's amazing how fast and flat the bullet is, and the recoil is almost non-existent," said Garcia.

Team Hornady pros Barry Dueck and Tate Moots finished third and fourth respectively in the Heavy Metal Tactical Division.

"Team Hornady members battled through heavy rainfall, high winds, and tough stages to make a lasting impression at the USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals," stated Neal Emery, Communications Manager for Hornady Manufacturing.
