Paso Robles, CA—Today, Weatherby® Inc. announces its endorsement and exclusive firearms sponsorship of the 2015 NRA Outdoors Long Range Hunting/Marksmanship Schools.

The NRA's long-range school educates novice and intermediate marksmen on the fundamentals of precision long-range shooting. Led by NRA Certified Instructors, courses cover a variety of topics ranging from ammunition selection, reading weather, bullet placement, spotting skills and much more. Through developing the essential shooting skills used in a variety of long range scenarios, the Long Range Hunting/Marksmanship School shapes attendees into effective marksmen with the knowledge and confidence to make shots at up to 1,000 yards.

Weatherby will be contributing a number of their Vanguard® Series 2 rifles to the 2015 NRA Outdoors Long Range Hunting/Marksmanship Schools, held at Peacemaker National Training Center in Gerrardstown, West Virginia and at the SUB-MOA facility in Henefer, Utah.
