RangeLog's Allen Takes Florida IDPA ESP Title

Clearwater, FL - Over 290 competitors battled it out on the weekend of March 8th, in one Florida's largest practical pistol matches, the Florida State IDPA Championships. This match has grown to be one of the premier IDPA matches on the season schedule.

Team RangeLog's Morgan Allen was the High Overall finisher at the match and was awarded the Enhanced Service Pistol (ESP) Division Title with a time of 169.79 and only 40 points down. This dominating performance was almost 30 seconds faster than his nearest ESP division competitor and was second for overall accuracy.

"I'd like to thank those who have made this match possible starting with the safety officer & stats crew running the match, led by Dan Bernard." said Allen, "Also the match sponsors who donated over $17,000 toward the awards table. Personally, I appreciate the support of Team RangeLog, G4S-ITI, Ranier Ballistics, Safariland and others."

Allen continued, "This match has underscored the Florida State IDPA Championship as a premier IDPA match with a consistent attendance hovering at the 300 shooter mark during at least the past 3 years. Between a healthy showing of competitors and the challenge posed by the stages, the full spectrum of skills were needed to perform well. Shooters needed to have equally well prepared technical and mental games worked into their training programs in order to have a strong finish. RangeLog offers just the right tools and practice plans to make that possible."
