Team FNH Duo Faces Off in 3-Gun Finale
McLean, VA - The 2012 3-Gun Nation Championship Finale, sponsored by Brownells and sanctioned by NRA Sports, was held on January 18th during the 2012 SHOT Show. The exciting conclusion of the FNH USA 3-Gun Nation Tour, presented by SureFire, was hosted at the Clark County Shooting Range in Las Vegas and brought together the eight best practical shooters in the U.S from a group of nearly 1,500 competitors. Two members of Team FNH USA, Tommy Thacker and Mark Hanish, faced off against the other six best shooters in man-on-man elimination, then found they had to compete against one another Wednesday night. In the final round Thacker outshot Hanish to take the title of 3-Gun Nation Champion and the grand prize from Leupold Tactical Optics and NBC Sports Network.

"On behalf of FNH USA, we would like to congratulate both Tommy and Mark for their outstanding performance in Wednesday's 3-Gun Nation competition," said Ken Pfau, Senior Vice President of Law Enforcement Sales for FNH USA, LLC. "Since joining team FNH USA, both have demonstrated time and time again they are superior marksmen and great teammates. Their personal and professional dedication contributed greatly to their success on Wednesday and goes a long way in demonstrating FNH USA's commitment to the shooting sports."

"I am honored to compete against the best shooters in the sport of 3-gun," said Thacker. "I couldn't have achieved this without the support from all members of Team FNH USA and our company's commitment to making 3-gun the premiere sport in the industry."

"It was fantastic experience shooting against Tommy in the finale," said Hanish. "In the man-on-man elimination format, anything can happen. You have to push yourself and your equipment to the absolute limit. Tommy's performance was simply flawless and I'm pleased to see him take this year's title."

The members of Team FNH USA have decided to donate a portion of the 3-Gun Nation Championship prize to two charities. Donations will be made on behalf of the team to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. More details on the donations to follow.
