Benelli USA Hosts Benelli Invitational to Support Freedom Hunters
ACCOKEEK, Md. (August 14, 2019)– The fifth annual Benelli USA Invitational Shoot is scheduled for September 27 at the Prince George’s County Trap and Skeet Center in Glenn Dale, Maryland. Proceeds from the event benefit the Freedom Hunters organization, established to help our military community enjoy the outdoors.
“Nothing can compare with the sacrifices made by our armed forces personnel. The Benelli USA Invitational in support of Freedom Hunters is one way we are thanking those who protect us,” said Benelli USA Vice President of Brand Marketing Tim Joseph.
Last year’s Benelli USA Invitational raised $85,000 for Freedom Hunters. The attendees competed in a morning round of sporting clays and then participated in a BBQ lunch with a silent auction and raffles. All proceeds went to Freedom Hunters to help get active duty and combat veterans, families of fallen heroes, children of those deployed, and wounded or injured veterans and their families into the outdoors for hunting, fishing and shooting experiences. More than 10,000 veterans and family members have enjoyed Freedom Hunter outdoor adventures.
“This is our fifth year and the event has grown significantly, enabling us to fund more of these outdoor events.
